DigitalLife MERGE-II is a mixer for MIDI signals. The device has 2 x input jacks, results can be obtained from 1 output. In addition to notes, stop dynamics and controller values, the Bolide also brings together MIDI Clock, Timecode or SysEx data.
MIDI thru boxes and MIDI merger allow easy distribution as well as mixing together MIDI data. When a keyboard plays a melody and the rhythm machine is supposed to give the pace to a workstation, a merger helps.
