NG CAMERA 2012 – 2021
Our Dolphin Automotive range of van reversing cameras are designed to fit so well they look like original factory fitted equipment. By replacing the housing of the high level brake light you remove the need to drill holes into the metal bodywork of the van which can often lead to issues with corrosion further down the line. It also helps keep the streamline of the vehicle so you do not have an object sticking up above the roof that can get caught on things.
In all instances our brake light cameras maintain the functionality of your 3rd brake light, in this instance our reversing camera is mounted to a replacement Perspex brake light housing so your actual light assembly and wiring remains untouched which also improves the simplification of the fitting.
This solution for the Mercedes Citan 2012-2021 (and also Renault Kangoo 2007-2021) has an adjustable camera angle for final alignment but as standard all our cameras have been designed to give what we believe is the optimum angle looking down at the rear bumper to make best use of those final few feet when reversing in limited space. The camera also comes with reversing guidelines, but these can be deactivated if not wanted.
The camera comes with a power cable and 10m phono / RCA cable. If you want to plug this into a screen or head unit you already need the it will need a phono/RCA input. You may need to program an OEM unit to tell it a camera is fitted for reversing or have it selectable for parking it fitting at the front. Alternatively we do a range of compatible dashboard and windscreen mounted monitor options.
