The antenna is supplied with an amplifier that is attached to the film. 3m of cable is then supplied to connect to your DAB Digital Radio. NB: This antenna will not convert a standard FM radio to DAB. Your car stereo will need to have a DAB tuner already for this antenna to get you a DAB signalallation Signal Performance If signal is poor please check you are in a location that gets a good DAB signal and that you have followed the instructions about removing any paintwork from the A pillar for a metal on metal connection for the earthing tab. Please note these glass antennas are not compatible with windscreens that have a heat reflective coating – this normally shows up as an oily purple tint. Also if fitting to a heated windscreen you will need to fit it without going over the metal heating elements in the glass.
