This bespoke camera replaces the high level brake light, thus keeping the height of the camera below the roof line and saves drilling any holes, which may cause corrosion and water ingress at a later date so warranty issues to worry about! It has a pass-through for the rear wash wipe waterjet nozzle if you have this, just remove the inserted grommet.
The camera comes with an extension cable and DIN to RCA cable adaptor, allowing trouble free installation. The brake lights and wiring remain independent and will continue to work as normal so you just need to wire the camera to a reversing light feed to switch it on when you select reverse gear. You can buy the camera on its own or, in addition, we also offer a range of monitor solutions depending on your needs and budget. All our range of cameras and monitors are compatible with each other so you just need to decide if you want a dash mounted or mirror mounted monitor – if you have a rear view mirror present as the mirror monitors are designed to clip over a current rearview mirror.
