This Door Lock Installation Kit comes with an adjustable guide template to ensure precise drilling, with snap-lock arms that let you select the door width and backset. The kit also includes two hole saws and an arbor with a pilot drill. The guide template is compatible with doors that are 1-3/8 inches or 1-3/4 inches thick and have 2-3/8-inch or 2-3/4-inch backsets. This kit is designed for use with wood doors and is constructed from high carbon steel for durability.

Save time on your next door lock installation with this all-in-one template that is easy to install in seconds. It has everything you need to cut clean holes for your locks and deadbolts, and is compatible with almost any 1-3/8″ or 1-3/4″ doors. With the included saw blades and arbor bits, there’s no need to pick up any extra tools except for a drill/driver to put it all together. The saw blades are made of carbide-coated teeth backed by reinforced steel to prevent wobbling, ensuring a clean cut every time. When you’re done, clear the accumulated plug out of the hole in seconds.
Important: DO NOT DRILL THROUGH THE DOOR ON ONE SIDE ONLY.
YOU SHOULD DRILL BORE HOLE HALFWAY ON EACH SIDE OF THE DOOR.
