Design: • Easy to replace cutting plates • Cutting plates made of powder metallurgical high-performance high-speed steel (HSS). Made in the MIM process (metal injection moulding = metal injection moulding). Extremely long service life compared to traditional wire rope cutters. Extremely soft cutting cut reliably prevents the splicing of the wire rope. Tip: with average hand size up to approx. 5 mm diameter with one hand. Therefore, ideal as a cheek cutter in an emergency. Jawing/cutting: • Special arched blades • Cutting plates can be easily replaced when worn • Cutting hardness 62 – 65 HRC • Low effort thanks to optimal cutting edge geometry • Two integrated press profiles for Bowden cable end caps and Bowden cable end caps. Cutting power: • Wire ropes up to 1800 N/mm2 with max. 6 mm diameter (e.g. stainless steel wire ropes, wire ropes with steel and textile ropes, Bowden cables, turns) • Wire up to 750 N/mm2 with max. 4 mm diameter (e.g. nails/wire pins, screws, bolts, ceiling hangers) • Single and multi-core copper and aluminium cable with max. 6 mm diameter joint: adjustable joint for precise cutting plate guidance, locking against unwanted opening, leg / handles: JC = with 2-component handle covers, material/finish: pliers body glowing in the drop forged, chrome-plated
