The Draper XP1000 VDE hi-leverage side cutter have been manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. This standard has ensured that the induction-hardened jaws provide ultimate effortless clean cutting for a long-term performance, all finished with an anti-corrosive dark painted finish. With an off-centred precision-machined pivot pins not only allow for a smooth one-handed operation with minimum play for use but increases the ease of cutting harder wires. Made from two part bi-material with an ergonomic soft grip handle that allows for maximum grip and user comfort, in addition, they have been designed with horns to protect you from slipping onto live conductors. Each VDE hi-leverage side cutter has been individually tested to 10,000V suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The hi-leverage side cutter has a maximum cutting capacity of 2.2mm. This comes with the Draper lifetime warranty.
