The Draper XP1000 VDE cable shears have been manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. This standard has ensured that the induction-hardened jaws provide ultimate effortless clean cutting for a long-term performance, all finished with an anti-corrosive dark painted finish. A precision-machined pivot pin allows for a one-handed operation for ease of use. This is a tethered version which comes with a loop through hole that allows for a lanyard or wrist strap to be attached, ensuring that it complied with the working at height regulations. Made from two part bi-material with an ergonomic soft grip handle that allows for maximum grip and user comfort, in addition, they have been designed with horns to protect you from slipping onto live conductors. Each VDE cable shear has been individually tested to 10,000V suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The cable shears have a maximum cutting capacity of 15mm. This comes with the Draper lifetime warranty.
