Why Fill Floorboard Gaps?
Gaps in between floorboards create cold draughts which lead to chilly rooms, discomfort during the winter months and increased heating bills. Floorboard gaps also allow insect infestation.
Timber floors contract and expand throughout the course of their life. These variations cause alternative floorboard sealants such as papier-mache, wood filler and silicon to become ineffective and loose and eventually drop out.

Easy to install with the free applicator, DraughtEx requires no adhesives and compliments the overall finish of your floorboards.
Its flexible properties allow DraughtEx to be applied to a wide range of gaps which will be completely sealed, and can also be used to seal gaps between floorboards and skirting boards.
DraughtEx comes supplied with a free applicator and comes in 3 sizes: Thin for gaps of 3mm or less, standard for gaps of 3 – 7mm and thick for gaps of 8 – 12mm.
