Installation Tips: 1. Cool engine, clean spark plug before disassembly and installation.2. Screw the spare spark plug into spark plug mounting hole, do not tilt the spark plug.3. Tighten the spark plug with a torque spanner to the specified torque. The maximum torque value applies to new spark plugs with unlubricated threads, and lubricated one should be approximately 1/3.4. If a torque spanner is not available, tighten to the specified turning angle.
Solutions to Common Problems (Feedback of Our Customers) :Normal condition: the insulator skirt end is yellowish brown or light greyish white, and the electrode ablation is very small.1. The spark plug is covered with carbon deposits, which cause it to stall in severe cases: Detect the ignition circle output voltage, no-load output voltage > 30,000 volts, replace the spark plug with a lower thermal value.2. Insulator skirt end is “burn white”, melted electrodes, electrode premature ablation: The spark plug should be replaced with a higher thermal value.3. Black, shiny oil stains adhering to the surface of the casing around the screwed end and the inner cavity, the insulator skirt and the electrode surface: The problem can be solved temporarily by replacing the spark plug with a lower calorific value.4. The surface of the porcelain parts along the axial direction has obvious traces of arc burn scintillation: Replace the high-voltage wire or apply silicone oil to the inner hole of the high-voltage wire, adjust the spark plug gap or replace the spark plug.5. MMT contamination: Replace the spark plug with a new one, and at the same time replace it with high quality petrol.
