Directions
1. Prepare tools: Make sure you have a Tick Remover Tool specifically designed for removing ticks. This tool usually consists of an elongated clamp or pliers.
2. Locate the tick: Before use, carefully observe the location where the tick is attached. They usually attach to human or animal skin, especially hair, armpits, groin and other areas.
3. Grasp the tick gently: bring the tool into close contact with the tick’s head. Gradually increase the pressure until the tick is firmly grasped.
4. Pull out the tick slowly: Using even pressure, pull the tick out slowly and steadily in an upward motion. Try to avoid using too much force to avoid leaving the tick’s head lodged in the skin.
5. Clean the wound: Once the tick has been successfully removed, clean the wound with detergent and sterile cotton balls. Make sure to remove the tick and any potentially infected tissue thoroughly.Place the tick in an airtight container to prevent it from escaping, and dispose of it in a safe manner.
