The SDM230-Modbus MID V2 Electricity Usage Monitor can monitor and manage single-phase electrical usage. With an easy-to-read backlit LCD display, it provides clear data visibility and easily connects to other devices via a Modbus RS485 communication feature. Our energy meter features a robust casing material – UL94V-0. Self-extinguishing, anti-flame polycarbonate, RoHS & REACH compliant for safety.
The front of the device has a 6P signal terminal for Pulse outputs and RS485 remote communication. Technicians can seal the sealing hole after installation to prevent stealing or illegal operation. The Pulse is indicated by two LEDs for real-time consumption indication.
The module has:
A laser-printed logo, specification, model number, and wiring information for technical operation readability.
A terminal block that connects to a 100A direct current load with a 25mm-cubic cable size.
PV Systems
Implementation of a Smart Meter in PV System provides readings on grid feed-in electricity, and PV yield from inverters connected to the device, with high level precision. Communication between the Smart Meter and inverters creates a coordinated system, digitalizing grid feedback to its owner, including the grid voltage, frequency, active power, reactive power, harmonic content, etc.
