These cutters are designed to be held horizontal and flat on the tool rest while turning. Which makes our tools safer. Simply advance the tool slowly into the workpiece, and begin cutting straight in or sweep the cutter from left to right or right to left. Optional Cutter: Ci6-R1 (1″ crown ground on all four turning surfaces) or Ci6-R1-NR Negative Rake Cutter for turning Resins, Acrylics and Extrmeme Hardwoods.
