An HMS carabiner is suitable for securing with the half-mast knot – therefore also the name HMS. The HMS carabiners always have a lock lock (manual or automatic) to prevent unwanted opening of the carabiner snap when securing. Ideal for use with Edelrid safety devices. Keylock closure for optimal handling when attaching and unhooking. With the Keylock system, the nose is replaced with a T piece, in which the corresponding milled snap snaps into it. This creates a significant advantage in handling, as cord wires, wires or tape material cannot get caught. Wire bracket keeps the carabiner in place when securing, unfavourable cross loads are thus avoided. H-profile construction for best possible material use with minimal weight. Steel insert prevents premature wear due to rope friction or drill hook tabs. The Triple Lock carabiner requires three movements to open it.
