FU 2.3K Potentiometer 8x OEM replacement variable resistor was made by Favor Union (FU). It fits analog joysticks made by FU. This 2.3K ohm version was found in some PS5 DualSense controllers 1. Solve most of joystick problems: 80% chances of joystick problems were caused by the potentiometer. In another words, the rotary mechanism and the tactile switches are not the problem. You can simply replace the side potentiometer sensor alone to solve most of the joystick problems2. Additional resistors included: Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear can cause drifting, and even new potentiometers can not be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. - [Reminder of Replacement] – Use a pair of pliers to separate the problem sensor off the joystick module. Try to replace the wiper first, see if it works. De-solder the sensor off the PCB. A metal pick helps to clear the holes. Soldering the new unit in is a breeze. Remember to calibrate the new control sticks in settings
