Rather than purchasing increasingly larger cages as your puppy grows simply choose a cage size for an adult dog and fit a divider so that it is the correct size for your puppy. By reducing the available space, your puppy will be less likely to urinate in the cage.
Dogs that suffer from anxiety attacks or panic responses should not be left unattended in a cage as they may harm themselves and damage the cage. Ensure your dog is properly crate trained before leaving alone in the crate. When fixing the divider ensure that hooks face away from the section that the dog will be in.
