Dutch pins are used by plasterers and bricklayers to temporarily hold wooden battens, profiles or feather edges in place. Also known as a masonry clamp, this simple tool is easy to use. The pointed end of the shank can be hammered into plaster or cement brick/block mortar joints. The curved arm slides along the shank of the pin jamming tight against the batten locking it securely in place. To release just tap the outer end of the curved arm.
