The Fellowes Powershred 53C is a personal cross-cut paper shredder with CD shredding capabilities. It comes with a three minute continuous run time makes this machine ideal for light use in your home/home office. It can shred up to 10 sheets per pass and features a 220 mm throat with an individual slot for shredding CD’s.
This machine shreds has a cut size 4 x 35 mm for higher security cross-cut shredding (security level P-4) It can also shred staples, small paper clips, credit cards and CD’s. The 53C has a 23 litres waste bin capacity and has an easy-lift off head for easier disposal.
All cross-cut shredders require oil for peak performance. If not oiled, a machine may experience diminished sheet capacity, intrusive noise when shredding and could ultimately stop running. To avoid these problems, we recommend you oil your shredder each time you empty your waste bin or whenever the machine is used with Fellowes Performance Oil ASIN: B00006I58N.
