This 5-piece Nativity scene set, designed by the sacred art sculptor Martino Landi, is made of hand-painted resin. The subjects are not all together on a base, but the set consists of 5 standalone figurines: St. Joseph in an upright position, the praying Virgin Mary with hands folded and one knee on the ground, Baby Jesus in the cradle, the ox and the donkey. You can then arrange the figurines in your 10-cm high Martino Landi Christmas créche as you prefer. This scene is an example of a contemplative crib, as it features the main characters that are usually located under the holy cave or in the hut. The inspiration to the tradition and the attention to detail perceivable in the different elements of this Nativity scene set (e.g. the animals’ mantle or the wood pattern of the manger) are the signature features of Landi’s designs. Please note that the holy hut/cave is not included (to be purchased separately). Due to hand-painting, colour tones might vary slightly.
