Product Features The durable, microprismatic, retroreflective 983 Series is designed to outline vehicles for increased visibility and attention in accordance with UN/ECE 104. The 983 Series is coated with a permanent adhesive for bonding to solid surfaces. The film is resistant to petrol fumes and occasional fuel spills. It also reflects when wet. Processing instructions Which surfaces can be bonded to?-Fixed structures-Smooth surfaces-Paint, glass, metal (aluminum)-Plastic (with pre-treatment if necessary)-Tarpaulin structures-New tarpaulins, not older than 6 months-Tarpaulins are difficult surfaces(flexibility, plasticizer, paint application, dirt)-Bonding only on tested surfaces-Cleaning of vehicles with contour markings-Cleaning without the use of steam high-pressure cleaners-Do not use any agents that have an abrasive effect (e.g. nylon brushes)-Do not use solvents (e.g. paint thinner)-Test cleaning agents beforehand-When using high-pressure steam cleaners-maximum pressure = 80 bar-maximum temperature = 60°C-minimum distance of the cleaning nozzle from the surface = 30 cm-maximum deviation of the cleaning jet from the right angle to the surface = 30°-Observe the manufacturer’s instructions for the high-pressure steam cleaner
