FIRE MATE is a fire retardent sealant that swells when exposed to temperatures in excess of 125 degrees celcius to prevent the passage of fire and smoke. In suitably designed joints, a fire rated joint of up to 4 hours may be achieved (when tested to EN1366-4). Excellent non-slump properties for overhead use. Can be used in joints up to 50mm wide and 25mm deep. Halogen free. 1 tube provides approx. 10.5 linear metres for a 6mm diameter bead. Certifire approved CF5026. Sticks best to; Brick, Concrete, Stone and Timber. Interior Use. Water clean up.
