The unique operation and cleat geometry of the Fischer DUOTEC allows for a very heavy load bearing for tipping studs. For multiple fixings, this reduces the number of fixings and maximises safety. As a member of the DUO line, the DUOTEC consists of two plastic components. The red and hard component of the dowel sleeve allows for even distribution of the load, and the grey and soft material prevents damage to the surface of the plate during fixing, thus reducing the load. In applications on boards, behind which there is a gap, the DUOTEC is used as a tipping cue. In solid materials, the cue can also be used as an expansion plug.
