How to use: Assemble the trap. Place one of the sticky inserts sticky side up into the base of the trap. One pheromone lure should be removed from the foil sachet and laid in the centre of the sticky insert. Important Note: Do not open the pheromone sachets until the lure is needed. Keep a note of the date because after 5 weeks you need to replace the sticky insert and pheromone lure. Date Trap Erected: The codling moth is about 8mm long, dark colour and rests with its wings folded to form a dark triangle shape. If you are catching more than 50 moths per week the infestation is very high and a suitable spray should be applied.
