BlueChart® g2 Vision – the new dimesion of visual marine map representation. Highly developed card plotters work best with high quality card material. That’s why Garmin has improved its BlueChart-G2 technology now and released BlueChart® g2 vision. BlueChart® g2 Vision is compatible with Garmin new card plotters: 420/420s/520/520s/525/525S/4008/4012/5008/5012. The new G2 version offers: taking into account the depth and light height, AutoGuidance calculates route suggestions. It can be displayed with the function “3D fish-eye” a 3D image of the sea base. Detailed satellite images are stored as a basemap. Topographic features, coastal roads, harbour plans and city areas are described and shown in more detail. In addition, aerial photographs are available for many ports. With the advanced BlueChart® g2 Vision Marinekartography, details on the card can be displayed in the 3D perspective, similar to the perspective of the tax man. The system has an advanced IALA navigation aid symbol. Optimised management of the card tiles and better integration of the card graphics allows easier moving, scrolling and zooming. Intense display colours and shadows make it easier to read.
