We recommend you to follow the instructions and that you cook with medium – low heat. The trick to prevent the arepas from sticking is in not letting the budare overheat so that they do not get burned. (Yes, you always have to put oil on the budare). That is because you are learning how this budare heats on your kitchen CLEAN AND CARE If there are residues of arepas sticked, the best moment to remove them is just after you flip the arepas Use a wooden spatula. Take advantage of the fact that the budare is hot and that the remains of burnt dough are soft. To clean, Do not use soap, for it attacks the oil on the seasoning. Clean with a non-metallic sponge. You can also use a wood spatula or a non metallic brush. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Every 5 uses, after cleaning and drying apply 1 teaspoon of oil and spread it over the entire surface. Put the pan over high heat. As soon as you notice smoke, turn the heat off and spread the oil carefully again through the entire surface. Let it cool down and then store it
