Linked to the Combidect295, the memory buttons on the Combidect 295 will automatically transfer to the Amplidect 295. Of course, you can change the numbers if you want. Each photo button has a lift up lid to add or change the image on the button. Once all the buttons are loaded and saved, the phone will dial out easily by pressing the appropriate button. The volume on the phone can be increased by up to 30 decibels and a speakerphone on the unit allows for hands-free conversation. The range of the phone is up to 50m indoors and up to a remarkable 300m outdoors, as with all our cordless phones, this one is also Hearing Aid Compatible. Talk time is 8 hours and standby up to 4 days. The great feature here is that if you can’t get to or don’t want to answer the phone, your caller can easily leave a message on the answering machine on the main unit. The answering machine can hold up to 15 minutes of recording time. Accessing the messages from away from home is a cinch. Just call in and enter a unique PIN number and you can listen to the messages.
