For regular 85 mm cigarettes with filter or filterless, also compatible with corresponding cigarillos The dimensions of the case are exactly as intended and tested for many years. In the shape of these cases, we use decades old tools. (The dimensions are set by the tool.) The cigarettes sit tight. However, this is an advantage: so the cigarettes cannot slip. In many cases the cigarettes sit relatively loose. The vibrations gradually dissolve the tobacco in the cigarettes and ripples. On the topic we have some videos online, which I am unfortunately cannot link here. Similarly, we have photos that show that a fully occupied case does not damage the inside of the cigarettes.
