To the radio insert two speakers can be connected. The radio detects connected loudspeakers automatically and switches between stereo and mono mode. The display of the control tower shows the station name, station frequency and the time at an appropriate RDS signal. The operation of the radio is possible via the capacitive buttons on the control tower. To operate, only a light touch of the symbols is necessary. The flush-mounted radio RDS has two memory slots, on each of which a station can be stored and accessed easily with keystrokes. Via the extension input the radio can be activated e.g. with a light switch or an automatic switch together with the room lighting. Via the stereo AUX input of the radio, external audio sources such as MP3 players can be fed into the radio. To connect the external audio source, an additional RCA socket 0403 is required, which is connected to the AUX terminals of radio insert. In sleep mode, the radio will automatically switch off 30 minutes after it is turned on.
