GLC-TE Cisco RJ45 copper media converter Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-T SFP for Gigabit Ethernet applications. It’s compatible with the IEEE802.3 1000BASE-T standard. The GLC-TE is the replacement model for GLC-T which is no longer made by Cisco. This means the GLC-TE is an improved product and will work in all applications where the older ‘GLC-T’ was approved (ie backwards compatible). As this transceiver is designed with the same features of GLC-T type, but has an extended temperature range from -5 to 85° which is an added benefit.
