The Matcha Whisk is an essential accessory for proper preparation of matcha tea. It is carved out of a single piece of white Bamboo and features 80 bristles. It is used to whip the matcha powder together with hot water to create a nice, foam-like frothing on top. Rather than using a stirring motion, the whipping should be done with quick movements from the wrist like writing an “M” or “W” After use, rinse the bamboo whisk with lukewarm water and let it dry.
