HandiHoldall – 175L Waterproof Roof Bag / Top Box (Black) – Large Cargo Carrier – Solid Foldable Base

This HandiHoldall has been specifically designed to meet the demand of customers who already have a bike or sports rack attached to their roof bars and therefore not sufficient space available for a traditionally sized roof box. The quality of materials, production processes and technical features allow the HandiHoldall to resist water ingress during typical and heavy wet weather driving conditions (subject to the manufacturer’s installation guidelines being correctly followed). upon reaching the destination the HandiHoldall, once removed from the car, makes a useful and effective outdoor storage solution. Two strong glass fibre poles secured to the inside of the HandiHoldall provide it with a solid base. The HandiHoldall is manufactured using the same production process and technology as dry bags, where the sections of the extremely strong and durable polyester Tarpaulin material are electronically welded together under intense heat and pressure. This creates a very strong fused bond that acts as a barrier to water and moisture. Furthermore, the polyester Tarpaulin is laminated with a PVC coating. Unlike traditional roof Boxes which are difficult to store, the HandiHoldall compacts to a size of just 58cm x 17cm x 13cm when not in use. This means that it can be easily stored in either the boot of the car or in the garage. The roof bar fitting kit (which is included with the HandiHoldall) comprises 4 x 40cm ‘Hi grip’ HandiStraps and 4 x 150cm normal webbing HandiStraps which are used to secure the HandiHoldall to the outer fixing points of the metal roof bars thus minimizing any lateral movement. The HandiHoldall is attached to the HandiRack using the 2 x 3 metre HandiStrap tie-downs that form part of the HandiRack kit.
