Care Policy: General cleaning for your unique home products: 1. Clean with a soft damp cotton cloth. 2. Do not scrub. 3. Avoid using acidic or abrasive material or cleaners. 4. Do not soak in water. Specific Wood Product care instructions: Oil regularly with food-grade oil, like mineral oil (in a pinch, use olive oil), and if it becomes grainy or splintered give it a rub down with fine grain sandpaper. Coat the bowls with oil by dipping cotton balls into the oil and briskly rubbing these against the wood to make sure the oil is absorbed by the wood. Leave the bowls for about 30 minutes or overnight, then blot off the excess oil using paper towels.
