Fill food regularly and as needed in the bird feeders every day. In winter, birds get used to the supply of food and expect this. They then come to the bird feeder every day, usually at the same time.
The feed of our overwintering birds is mainly made of plant food, various seeds, grains, berries and forest berries. Most birds that usually visit feeders like sunflower seeds most, which are also a full-fledged food. You can supplement it with cereal grains such as oats, buckwheat, millet and wheat. Birds will also enjoy legumes and corn.
The bird feeder with sebum ball storage is an ideal solution if you cannot refill the food into the bird feeder every day. The sebum balls must always be without nets. We recommend those that do not contain palm oil.
