Something old and something new! Here’s the classic family card game HAPPY FAMILIES reinvigorated in a wonderful new special edition, specifically for families named WRIGHT. Ideal as a gift or small present for anyone named Wright, this awesome pack of illustrated Happy Families playing cards is full of fun: The illustrated cards celebrate family life in all its glory. There’s a set of cards involving a family trip to the amusement park (featuring for example, a rather alarmed and slightly nauseous looking Mrs. Wright on a rollercoaster and a Master Wright who has so much candy floss that nausea will surely follow soon). There’s another set of cards depicting some amusing Gross Cousins named Wright whose vulgar manners and unhygienic habits often make them the favourite cards for younger players. An animation of some of the cards can be seen in a video further down the page. It doesn’t stop there! The cards are also dotted with intriguing little titbits of info about the surname Wright. Here’s the sort of thing that you might learn while you play: The name Wright refers a person whose job is making things and the first people to be called Wright were makers. When surnames were first introduced, it would have been normal for a cheese maker to get the surname “Cheesewright” while cart makers became the Cartwrights and people who wrote plays became Playwrights. Confusingly though, the name Wright originally had nothing to do with writing. When surname were first introduced, the people who could write were typically clerks this gave us the surname Clark. Anyway, that’s another story, let’s get back to those Happy Wright Families….r your copy NOW !!!
