Diatonic Harmonica HARMO CUSTOM SHOP brass comb, brass covers, classic reed setup Key of C harmonica designed and Assembled in the USA. Our brass is electro nickel plated for a slicker look. The classic reed setup is recommended for beginners, intermediate players and for players of all levels who mostly play Folk and Blues. We make a classic manual reed adjustment in our US workshop to optimize the reed response in typical playing situations. We use the best material and manufacturing process available for our Custom shop harmonicas to offer you the best quality harp and a unique design. Our comb is CNC milled and we use quality phosphor bronze reeds that are loud and very responsive. The covers use a proprietary design created by David Herzhaft after 2 years of research and development. The shape and thickness of the covers is much better than standard harmonicas. The covers allow no air to escape on the side and focus all the sound towards the audience. The specific shape is optimized for better projection and the thickness of the harmonica cover offers a richer tone. Safety Instructions Please read all the following safety instructions before using the instrument : You should not disassemble your harmonica unless something is really wrong with the sound. In case you do so we recommend you replace all screws in the same order you removed them. Always store the instrument in its special case / pouch Do not rinse or wash the instrument by hand or in a dishwasher. Do not leave the instrument in a room under 45 or above 90 Farenheit degrees. Avoid drinking soda, alcohol or eating before playing as food residual may seriously damage or block the reeds. Use caution when maintaining your instrument due to sharp edges If a reed gets out of tune or blocked the instrument should not be played as reeds have a finite lifespan once they go out of tune or break they can cause injuries. Harmonica reeds have a limited lifespan and the way you play your harmonica can greatly impact on their lifespan. It is highly recommended to never blow or draw too hard and to keep a relaxed position at all times. The main cause for reeds to break is poor technique. If you blow or draw too hard a reed might break or get stuck. If you force when you bend or overbend the reed might go out of tune or break. Professional players barely break reeds. If hole 2 or 3 blow / draw do not sound right your lips position is most likely not correct. Please check our online tutorials or contact a professional harmonica teacher.
