Refer to the specification of your card to make sure it supports 2560×1440 or higher at the output to which you intend to connect the monitor. For example, if it is written that your card has a DVI Dual-Link or DVI port that supports 2560×1600, then such a card will do. Some models of monitors have not only DVI, but also other inputs such as DisplayPort, HDMI or VGA. HDMI should be noted especially, as it is limited by the resolution of 1920×1080 or 1920×1200 in many models of monitors and video cards.
