Catnip Herb, commonly known as catswort, catwort, and catmint, grows naturally in southern and eastern Middle East, Central Asia and parts of China. The names catnip and catmint are derived from the intense attraction cats have towards them. It has been used in European natural medicine for generations. Catnip can be used in soups, stews and mixed into herb blends for seasoning dishes. To make a Catnip Herb tea, mix 2 tsp Catnip Herb with 200 ml of boiling water. Preferred steeping time is about 10-15 minutes. Add lemon juice and honey, stir, and let cool for several minutes. After this time strain the mixture and drink. This Health Embassy Catnip Herb is available in 50 gram pack.
