Technical Description With this alcohol meter you can quickly and easily measure the alcohol content of spirits. A good gauge to dilute homemade schnapps to drinking strength or to check purchased distillates for alcohol content.
Application: Place the meter at about 20 ℃ vertically in the too put alcohol under test. Wait for a stable value. The alcohol content is displayed above the scale on the meter. The results of the measurement are most accurate at 20 ℃.
Note: Please note that this alcohol meter can measure the alcohol content only in water / alcohol mixtures correctly. For wine you need a refractometer. Alcohol meters are not suitable for wine, beer, liqueurs!
