Hi-Gear Insta-Seal quickly and permanently seals large and small leaks in blown head gaskets, cracked cylinder heads, heater matrix, core plugs and leaking radiators in all types of aluminum and cast iron engines. Insta-Seal is safe for use with all types of antifreeze. Insta-Seal will not harm the cooling system when used correctly. Hi-Gear Insta-Seal is formulated with ceramic micro-fibres and copper fines of varying size to ensure a fast and permanent seal of holes or cracks in the cooling system. The ceramic micro-fibers and copper flow into cracks so fine that they cannot be seen by the human eye to form an extra-strong seal within the crack or hole. The crack or hole is actually filled, from top to bottom, with the ceramic micro-fibers and copper forming a complete “weld”. Even through the ceramic micro-fibres and copper are fine enough to flow into the smallest of cracks, they interweave to seal even the largest of cracks and holes. Once the “weld’ is complete Hi-Gear Insta-Seal lasts the life of the engine. Copper not only aids in creating an extra-strong seal, but it also conducts heat across the crack or holes thereby eliminating hot spots that normally form on the edges of a crack or hole. Copper is very friendly to all components in the engine. Hi-Gear Insta-Seal is formulated to expand and contract with the temperature changes of the engine and radiator during start-up, running and shutdown and is heat resistant to over 200 degrees C.
