Holmegaard Denmark
Holmegaard Denmark is the largest and oldest glasswork and started their first production in 1825. Initially, the factory produced only green bottles, but the widow Henriette of the Count Christian Danneskiold-Samsøe also wanted to produce clear glass – which was possible for the Bohemian glass blowers. Today, both mouth-blown and machine glass is realised using the latest and most modern manufacturing methods.
