The Homematic IP Water Sensor is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and reliably detects humidity as well as water from 1.5 mm height. Thus, the Homematic IP Water Sensor e.g. signals a water leak in the bathroom or the basement rooms via the integrated siren with a loud signal sound or via push notification in the Homematic IP app on one or more smartphones of the users. So, they will get the opportunity to respond immediately to the risk situation and reduce any damages to a minimum. In addition to alarming via the built-in siren, the Homematic IP Alarm Siren (HmIP-ASIR) can be used to signal the water alarm at another location in the home. The triggering behaviour of the water sensor can easily be adjusted to your personal preferences using the free app. Thanks to radio communication, battery operation and the spring-mounted measuring probes, the Homematic IP Water Sensor can be flexibly used in the house or apartment and on different surfaces. The device is also equipped with a tilt sensor which immediately detects and reports unintended movement or manipulation. The user manual as well as two 1.5 V LR03/micro/AAA batteries are included in the scope of supply.
