Assembly
The radiator thermostat is easily mounted on the radiator without intervention in the heating system. Two AA batteries provide energy for up to 2 years. Included is a high-quality metal union nut for secure mounting on all standard radiator valves with M30 thread.
Setting
Heat properly: Thanks to a pre-set heating profile, the device is ready to use, without any further configuration. If you want more, set individual temperature gradients with the free Homematic IP app – with up to 13 changes per day in 3 adjustable heating profiles. For example, you can come to a pre-heated bathroom in the morning, save valuable heating energy when you are away and enjoy the evening in the living room at the desired room temperature.
Control.
With the Homematic IP Access Point and the free smartphone app, you lay the basis for your smart home: your radiator thermostat – basic is integrated into it and you can smartly complement many other devices.
Smart highlight.
The Homematic IP radiator thermostat reacts really smartly – basic in combination with window on detection. When a window is opened, the radiator automatically lowers the temperature – and the energy. Opened windows and doors can be noticed even more precisely with the additional Homematic IP window and door contact. So you can save up to 33% on heating costs.
Tip:
You can combine the basic radiator thermostat with up to eight Homematic IP window and door contacts and a Homematic IP wall thermostat. If you use several Homematic IP radiator thermostats in a room, you can operate them centrally via app or simply via the Homematic IP wall thermostat.
