The Hozelock Aquaforce Strainer Cage is designed to be used in conjunction with the Hozelock Aquaforce range of pumps. The larger models in the Aquaforce range (6000, 8000, 12000 and 15000) have a second inlet which allows the use of the satellite strainer. This means water can be drawn into the pump from two separate areas of the pond, improving pond circulation. Just like the Aquaforce pumps the Strainer Cage incorporates the optional Wildlife Protection System which reduces the cage openings down to 2mm, to prevent wildlife such as tadpoles, newts and small fish getting into the cage.
