KHD A3000, WWII German truck. Plastic modelling is an area of model construction in which models are mainly made of plastic (today mostly polystyrene). These are usually drive-free stand models where the interest is more on a high level of detail than on robustness or function, but with which it can also be played limited. Prefabricated parts are mainly used here. More rarely can be found kits made from deep-drawn shapes (Vacu kits) and pure resin kits.
