The ICY DOCK flexiDOCK MB795SP-B combines a hot-swappable 3.5″ and 2.5″ HDD or SSD slot in a single 5.25″ bay. The strapless design makes it easy to install and replace 2.5″ or 3.5″ HDDs/SSDs as the blank drives simply need to be inserted and then ready to use. You do not need any screws or tools. If you want to remove the drive, you can easily remove it thanks to the recesses in the front. A simple yet reliable design. Individual power on/off switch allows drives to be disconnected from the power supply at the touch of a button, thus turning off and protecting them from viruses when they are not needed. Installing a 2.5″ and 3.5″ HDD / SSD has never been easier than with the FlexiDOCK – simply slide the blank drive in and you’re ready to go. The recesses in the front are designed to remove drives as easily as possible – simply pack the 3.5 inch hard drive and pull it out. The 2.5″ drive stands out minimally, so it is also easy to reach without being too far. This means you have a particularly secure docking station for your HDDs and SSDs. The installation of 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives is simplified by guide rails which also serve to stabilize the drives. This ensures that the drives always have a solid and stable connection to the SATA connector and are protected against damage in the event of shocks. Each of the two drive slots has its own on/off switch and allows you to interrupt the power supply to individual drives without having to remove them from the flexiDOCK. This effectively reduces the wear and tear on the ports that can be caused by frequent removal and can also keep your sensitive data safely separated.
