The keyboard is the perfect device for multiple Igloohome locks or adding value to a Retrofit lock. Ideal for guests, visitors, children and more, the keyboard allows you to grant temporary access to your home. You don’t need a smartphone to enter, just send them unique PINs. Wi-Fi Free All igloohome locks work offline. What does that mean? No Wi-Fi, no problem! But of course we give you the option to do it online. AlgoPIN™ – the technology behind all igloohome devices that allows you to issue PIN codes remotely without Wifi. igloohome devices work offline for safety and reliability. Unlike other Bluetooth smart locks on the market, your guests will not need to download an additional app to access it. Our unique algoPIN™ uses technology similar to a one-time password (OTP) of a bank token. How does algoPIN™ allow you to generate PIN codes without WiFi? STEP 1 – PAIRING After installation, you will need to pair your lock with your igloohome account via the igloohome app on your smartphone. Once the pairing is successful, your smartphone syncs the unique PIN token with our secure cloud servers and does not store the token locally. STEP 2 – Generate a PIN When creating PINs for guests or family members, your smartphone sends a request for your token to cloud servers. Use of algorithms A unique PIN with an integrated validity period is generated randomly. You don’t have to be near the castle for that. STEP 3 – PIN ASSEMBLY Now, armed with the PIN, you can share it with the desired recipient via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS and more. Your guest does not need to download another app to get a PIN. STEP 4 – ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY Once the PIN is entered into the relevant igloohome device, the lock converts the PIN to the desired action, such as allowing access only once. Secure Security No more fiddling with small numbers or tedious dials on regular padlocks; you won’t even have to keep track of keys or codes to unlock. Padlock is a mobile application that allows you to obtain or grant access on your terms. The Retrofit Lock automatically locks as soon as the door is closed for added peace of mind. Automatic unlocking Your door unlocks automatically when you get home. Never handle keys again. Low battery alert Intuitive audible and visual alerts invite you to replace the battery when it is low. Obstacle alarm Warns the user of any obstacles in the lock. Night Mode Automatically lock the door at a set time overnight for added security. Schedule Set the times when the lock should automatically unlock or lock the door. These plans also turn off auto-lock during set hours for easier access throughout the duration. High torque mode High torque mode is available for locks that require more force to smoothly extend and retract the bolt tab. Volume Control Adjust the volume to your preference.
