The self-propelled artillery guns from the M-110 series have been the backbone of the American Army and the Allied armies for many years. They were put into service in the 1960s, but thanks to the improvements made from 1977, the M-110 A1 version has been improved over time. The M-110 A1 was equipped with the new 203mm M201 long-reach hoodworker capable of using a wide range of ammunition. The project was characterized by an excellent blend of firepower and mobility on any terrain, which was achieved by optimizing the hull that the M-107 had too. It has been used in the artillery divisions to ensure support fire, artillery duels and fighting hostile positions. It was widely used during the Lebanon conflict and during the first Golf War.
