This platform would make an excellent gift and cage accessory for your pet bird/birds. The main purpose is to utilise more of the available space in the cage and to give the bird more landing areas and to generally make life happier, healthier and easier for the bird. Its a 20 cm length x 12 cm width platform so there is plenty of room to play, stretch out those busy feet, rest, relax and lie down. Its designed mainly for smaller birds for example: buderigars, parrotlets, canaries, finches. It’s recommended for standard and strong cages that have strong bars to accommodate the weight and size. It can be used either outside or inside the cage. The base is made from natural european redwood with smooth straight edges and the top layer has a pine dowling wood tube perimeter which is great for toys that clip on and to give the platform a perch look and feel and to provide a barrier to hold in the toys and foods such as millet and fruits. Furthermore, the perimeter has a burned in bird footstep pattern to give an eye-catching decorated aesthetic look. Attaching the platform couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is insert the stainless steel thread bolt, then attach the washers then screw on the wingnut.
