1. Light measurement
A. Press the ON button to turn on the instrument
B. Align the window of the highest point light source light sensor.
C. The current intensity of light will be displayed on LCD displays.
Attention: Please do not block the light or create shadows on the light sensor
2. PH range measurement
A. Push the 【 PH/℃ 】 button on the back to the PH position.
B. Insert the probe vertically into the soil and conduct the test as soon as possible.
C. Press the 【 ON 】 button to start measuring.
D. The tested pH value will be displayed on the LCD screen
E. Measure multiple times to obtain the exact value you need.
Attention:
1. Insert the probe vertically at the edge of the plant stem in the middle.
2. Please gently push into the soil to avoid damaging the probe.
3. If the measured soil is too dry or fertile to accurately measure the pH value, the user can sprinkle some water and measure again after half an hour
3. Moisture measurement
Push the 【 PH/℃ 】 button on the back to the ℃ position
Insert B vertically into the soil as much as possible.
C Press the NO key to start measuring
The soil moisture value of the D test will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Measure multiple times to obtain the exact value required.
4. Temperature measurement;
When measuring humidity, the soil temperature value will be displayed on the LCD screen simultaneously.
Press the 【 ℃/℉ OFF 】 button to set the humidity display to ℃ or ℉.
Note: If the user does not insert the probe into the soil, it will display the accurate external space ambient temperature.
Soil pH
Soil pH, also known as soil reaction. It is an acid-base reaction of soil solution. It mainly depends on the concentration of hydrogen ions in the soil solution, expressed in pH value. A solution with a pH value of 7 is a neutral solution; If the pH value is less than 7, it is an acidic reaction; A pH value greater than 7 indicates an alkaline reaction. Soil acidity and alkalinity can generally be divided into the following levels:
PH value soil acidity and alkalinity
<4.5 Extremely acidic
4.5-5.5 Strong acidity
5.5-6.5 Acidity
6.5-7.5 Neutral
7.5-8.5 Alkalinity
8.5-9.5 Strong alkalinity
> 9.5 Extremely alkaline
Soil acidity and alkalinity have a significant impact on soil fertility and plant growth. Many soils in northwest and northern China have high pH values, while red soils in southern China have low pH. Therefore, crops and plants that are suitable for soil pH can be planted. In red soil areas, acid loving tea trees can be planted, while alfalfa has strong alkali resistance. The soil acidity and alkalinity also have a signi
