This includes regular, gentle shaking to remove dust etc. and to relax and lift the pile. You can also do this using a vacuum cleaner at the lowest power level. Avoid fully soaking it and ensure it dries completely after use. This ensures the bulky yarn appearance is retained for a long time. Please always wash bath mats separately from other laundry in the washing machine. Please select the delicate cycle, the washing temperature shown in the care instructions and the highest possible water level, and use a mild detergent. Our bath mats can be dried at a reduced heat in the dryer or, preferably, can be laid flat to dry on a drying rack. Drying on a radiator or other direct heat damages the backing.
